Here we are in September with summer fading away and autumn showing her golden sun-kissed face while painting the landscape red and gold. This is the time when the last of the summer warmth greets autumn's first chill.
I so loved the lovely sunny summer days we were so blessed with this year but I do embrace the autumnal glory. For me, autumn is a time of renewal, new beginnings, and the start of a whole new chapter.
I love the autumn sunny days in the garden which is still full of life. The dahlias are still so magnificent in our garden and I just can’t stop admiring them! The house has been filled with dahlias for ages and still plenty left to give friends.
Lots of wonderful seed heads in the garden right now and I‘ve been gathering them for vase arrangements as well as collecting seeds to sow for next year.
Not forgetting our wild friends, I always leave plenty of seed heads for the many birds that frequent our garden, for their winter food.
I hope you have a wonderful September
Best wishes
Tara
