July 2022 Editors Letter

I love this month and the warmer longer days it brings. For me all the wonderful summer memories we create now helps get through the colder months later on.

It is that time of the year when we can pause a little, enjoy and make most of these sunny summer days.

To take lovely picnics in the countryside and spend evenings walking along the beach and maybe stopping for an impromptu drink somewhere. Watching the sunset over the water. These are some of the simple pleasures I enjoy over the summer months.

The garden is in full bloom now and I like nothing better than to potter around the garden with a glass of wine just absorbing the beauty, fragrance of the summer garden and listening to bird song from many lovely birds that frequent our garden.

On these warm summer evenings it’s lovely to take meals outside and cosy up with a blanket later on with some incense and a few twinkling tea lights dotted around the garden and listen to the soothing sound of cafe del mar in the background. This for me is pure bliss.

July brings another one of my favourite events - The Hampton Court Flower show.

A wonderful show within a spectacular setting.

I am really looking forward to this great show and can’t wait to see all the show gardens and take away lots of inspiration.

No doubt I will definitely be buying a few new plants for my own garden.

As well as eye catching plant and garden displays there will be lots of other shopping opportunities.

I hope you get to enjoy lots of relaxing summer days outdoors with the ones you love.

Warm regards

Tara
