A Spring Garden Posey

This beautiful posey of flowers picked from the garden with their cheerful, uplifting colours speaks of spring and the promise of brighter summer days to come.

For me often the simplest of arrangements of flowers from my very own garden can have the most wonderful impact.

Yellows and blues are my favourite combination and I find they work together harmoniously, creating a lovely visual statement.

These are the first flowers to appear in my garden - delicate forget me nots, the beautiful pulmanaria with stunning blue flowers that turn different shades of pink and double petal daffodils in sun shining yellow to remind us that spring has returned once more to grace our gardens.

I really enjoy displaying my flowers in glass ware and absolutely any type of glass ware is suitable to display your flowers.

Even a champagne flute can make the perfect vase for a simple delicate arrangement and I often use these.

It’s always nice to dot a few mini arrangements down the centre of your dining table for a dinner party to impress your guests and elevate your dining table.

I hope I have inspired you to look around your garden and compose your own highly individual arrangement, using whatever you have.
