For me, the garden is very much an extension of our homes - another room, a green calming space filled with fragrance and bird song. A garden is a place where we can lose ourselves; hours just drift away, and our minds become clearer and calmer. It truly is a place where magic happens.
As a small child growing up, I loved being in the garden, which my grandmother designed, and both my grandfather and grandmother tended to with so much love and care. I remember our house filled with flowers, and their beauty and fragrance were just exuberant.
I do believe many gardens are about memories. I know that mine is.
