Flower Arranging (Tulips)

A simple arrangement of flowers can change the feeling of a room in an instant. I love those first flowers of spring, and tulips are one of my favourites. Their wonderful colour palette lifts the mood of the garden in a moment.

These tulips in their technicolour splendour reflects the greeting card beside them.

I like to display my tulips in a stemmed vase and they always look extra special on the mantle.

For me a room always feels more complete with a vase of flowers or even a single bloom in a glass. Flowers make a room sing, whether they are bought, cut fresh from the garden or I especially like picking a few wildflowers on country walks to bring home.

Remember if you pick wild flowers, only pick a few and leave plenty for our wildlife friends.
