BEAUTY OF HELLEBORE

Hellebores are one of my absolute favourite spring flowers and they appear in abundance in my garden this time of year.

I just love their pretty nodding blooms and the wonderful variety of shades they come in.

A perfect plant for every garden or pot, really compact and they live happily in shady areas too.

As soon as the flowers appear, I bring handfuls indoors but they do droop after a couple of days. I recently discovered the best way to display the blooms is to snip off their heads, leaving a tiny bit of stem, and float them in water.

I love displaying my hellebore flowers inside a crystal bowl filled with water but they will look equally good floating inside a China bowl.

I do hope I have inspired you to create vignettes of your own, using treasures you love and flowers from your garden.

Warm regards
