Tara's November 2023 Letter

I rather like these November days - there is sort of a stillness in the air, a feeling that nature is winding down and so are we. A time to enjoy a walk through the countryside among the crisp fallen leaves, as the season gives way to winter.

The garden has been stripped of last of all summer's growth except for the beautiful, wondrous Dahlias, which continue to flower for a little time yet I hope, till frost shows his face. Our Dahlias have graced our home all summer long and I am so happy I haven’t bought a single flower so far yet!

For me, this is the time I look forward to concentrating on the indoors - making it warm and cosy for the colder months ahead. I make sure our home is well-stocked with candles and cosy throws for the hibernation period.

I take this time to indulge myself in books, writing, doing a bit of rearranging around the home, and making warming food treats to enjoy cosy nights in.

Happy November

Warm regards

Tara
